The article is devoted to the research of spare parts preparation of the military replenishment for Red Army in 1941—1942. The author presents information about each of them, reveals the specifics of the preparation of marching companies, cavalry squadrons, air squadrons and regiments. Special attention is paid to the assembly of the foreign planes supplied to the USSR under the lend-lease, participation in this process of the British military technicians as well as the preparation of French pilots. The author also reveals the specifics of the civilian units formation from the population of Ivanovo region. The article is based on the materials of the State archive of Ivanovo region and regional archive of FSB of Russia. Presented is new information on the history of Ivanovo region in the years of Great Patriotic war, lots of archival documents are put into circulation for the first time. The results of this research may be of certain interest for the specialists in the field of the military history and the history of Great Patriotic war.
