Publishing ethics

The editorial board is guided by the recommendations of the International Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE).
In accordance with this, the following ethical rules for cooperation between the editorial board and authors have been formed.

For authors:

· Authors are personally responsible for the content of the materials, the accuracy of the translation of annotations, citations, bibliographic information, as well as for information about themselves;

· The author confirms that his materials are published for the first time, are not presented in several journals at the same time, and also do not contain plagiarism in any form;

· All persons who have made a significant contribution to the creation of the article should be indicated as co-authors. The author of the work guarantees that the final version of the article and its submission for publication have been approved by all co-authors;

· The article should indicate the sources of funding for the work, forms of third-party funding (grants, subsidies, donations);

· Authors are obliged to disclose in their manuscripts financial or any other existing conflicts of interest that may be perceived as influencing the results or conclusions presented in the work;

· If the author (s) finds significant errors or inaccuracies in the publication, they must inform the editor-in-chief of the journal about this and interact with him in order to promptly withdraw the publication or correct errors. If the editor-in-chief or publisher receives information from a third party that the publication contains material errors, the author (s) is (are) obliged to remove the work or correct errors as soon as possible;

· The authors have the right to use the materials of the journal in their subsequent publications, provided that a link is made to the publication in the «Bulletin of IvGU».

For the editorial board:

· The journal does not cooperate with intermediary organizations and works directly with authors. In working with them, the editorial board adheres to the principles of corporate ethics;

· The editorial staff of the journal evaluates the intellectual content of manuscripts regardless of race, gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, religious beliefs, origin, citizenship or political preferences of the authors;

· The editorial board of the journal does not have the right to disclose information about the accepted manuscript to all persons, except for the authors, reviewers, possible reviewers, other scientific consultants and the publisher, unnecessarily;

· Unpublished data obtained from the submitted manuscripts cannot be used by members of the editorial board in personal research without the written consent of the author (s). Information or ideas obtained during the review and associated with possible benefits should be kept confidential and not used for personal gain;

· The editor-in-chief and other members of the editorial board of the journal should recuse themselves from considering manuscripts in the event of conflicts of interest due to competitive, joint and other interactions and relationships with the author (s), companies and, possibly, other organizations associated with the manuscript;

· The editor-in-chief, together with the publisher (and / or the scientific community), takes adequate response in case of ethical claims regarding the reviewed manuscripts or published materials.

For the reviewer:

· The reviewer is obliged to give an objective assessment, clearly and reasonably express his opinion, personal criticism of the author (s) is unacceptable;

· Reviewers should identify significant published works that are relevant to the topic and not included in the bibliography of the manuscript. Any statement (observation, conclusion or argument), published earlier, must be appropriately bibliographic referenced in the manuscript. The reviewer should also draw the attention of the editor-in-chief to the detection of significant similarities or coincidences between the manuscript in question and any other published work that is in the sphere of scientific competence of the reviewer;

· Unpublished data obtained from the submitted manuscripts, the reviewer cannot use in personal research without the written consent of the author (s). Information or ideas obtained during the review and associated with possible benefits should be kept confidential and not used for personal gain;

· Reviewers should not participate in the review of manuscripts in the event of conflicts of interest due to competitive, joint and other interactions and relationships with any of the authors, companies or other organizations associated with the submitted work.
