The article discusses the main stages of the formation of retail outlets of the Kineshma interdistrict base of the Ivanovo regional office of Torgsin. The question of the types of currency values received by the base (gold and silver coins, household gold and silver, foreign currency and precious stones) is considered in detail. Calculations of the weight value of individual currency values obtained by the inter-district trading network
are given. The countries from which foreign transfers were most actively sent to the accounts of retail outlets of the Kineshma interdistrict base are marked. The shops and department stores are the leaders in terms of attracting currency values through the interdistrict base. The contribution of the Kineshma interdistrict base to the work of the Ivanovo regional office is investigated. The comparison of financial indicators of
the Kineshma interdistrict base with the work of other interdistrict bases of the Ivanovo regional office is given. The potential economic effect of the activities of the Kineshma interdistrict base of Torgsin is considered. The foreign exchange income of the interdistrict base is compared with
the state’s expenditures on the construction of the largest industrial facilities.
