Smirnov D.G., Vetchinin N.M. Digitalization of consciousness: philosophical problems of cognitive aberration

The authors focus on the problem of digitalization of consciousness. The diversity in interpretations of digitalization is noted. A general definition of digitalization of
consciousness is given. The concept of the cognitive split (turn) that occurred in the first quarter of the 21st century is formulated. The role of natural reason and artificial intelligence in it is determined. A systemic representation of digitalization of consciousness is proposed, three stages of philosophical understanding of this phenomenon are identified. The semiotic specificity of the current moment of digitalization of consciousness is recorded. The foundations of digital cognitive aberration are analyzed — ontological and epistemological, which determine the imperfection of the digital universe. Its definition is formulated in the context
of the noospheric discourse of correlating natural reason and artifcial intelligence. Philosophical aspects of the problem of cognitive aberration are considered through the prism of the hypostases of philosophy — ontology, epistemology, axiology and praxeology. A conclusion is made about the significance of the issue of noospheric security in the context of the digitalization of consciousness.
