The author begins with an analysis of the noosphere concept introduced by V. I. Vernadsky as a representative of the Russian cosmism. Established is its status in science in philosophy. This was the basis for extrapolating the noospheric organization of the collective mind to the whole human history. In accordance with this, the article identifies and characterizes four main forms of the noospheric organization of the collective mind: contemplative, activist, co evolutionary and mythological. The mythological organization characteristic of primitive society is analogous to the co-evolutionary one.
