This article is devoted to the analysis of the contemporary market of lexicographic products registering new vocabulary of English-language discourse. The study reveals a number of characteristic trends in the field of compiling dictionaries of new words. Thus, the author has determined that modern glossaries can be created to describe a certain time period, the main stimulus for their appearance being global changes in social and political life (e.g. pandemic covid). The article also attempts to delineate the range of new words and the spheres that may be their source. For example, as a result of the analysis of dictionaries registering neologisms, the author comes to the conclusion that there are intersections in the concepts of slang and neologism, which gives the right to perceive slang dictionaries as a subject of research. The conclusion about the wide variety of forms and formats of dictionaries of new words on the modern lexicographic market, which is the result of technology development and transformation of users' demands, is made, and the tendencies of further development are highlighted. Lexicographic consolidation of new words contributes to the expansion of linguistic boundaries and adaptation of society to new situations in the global space.
