The article presents the main stages of the organization of the trade network of the Ivanovo cross-regional base of the Ivanovo territorial division of the Torgsin Company and its further reorganization. The article lists the settlements where stores and department stores of the Ivanovo cross-regional base were created. The main reasons and criteria for closing outlets are indicated. Some aspects of personnel policy are noted. Details of the biography of individual directors of the Ivanovo cross-regional base Torgsin are given. Information on buying gold and silver coins, domestic gold and silver, obtaining foreign currency and gems attracted by the Ivanovo cross-regional base and its subordinate outlets in 1933—1934 is presented. Calculations of the weight value of individual currency values obtained by the trading network of the cross-regional base are given. The countries which were most active in sending foreign transfers to Torgsin‟s accounts in the Ivanovo region are noted. Stores and department stores are indicated as leaders in terms of attracting foreign currency values through the cross-regional base. The contribution of the Ivanovo cross-regional base to the work of the Ivanovo regional office is investigated. A comparison of financial indicators of the Ivanovo cross-regional base with the work of other cross-regional bases of the Ivanovo regional office is given. The potential economic effect of the activities of the Ivanovo cross-regional base Torgsin is considered. The currency revenues of the cross-regional base are compared with the state expenditures on the construction of the largest industrial facilities of the period of the first and second five-year plan in the USSR.
