Being included in the space-time continuum, a person regularly subjects the finiteness of his existence and the existence of the world around him to reflection.
The paper explores the problem of semantic filling of space with eschatological representations, which manifests itself in various cultures and times. The novelty of the work consists in an attempt to clarify the essential status of eschatological representations in human life, refracted in spatial categories. As a result of the analysis, some conclusions were drawn. The formation of ideas about the eschatology of space is rooted in a person's understanding of the real space of his being. Iconography demonstrates a clear structuring of space associated with ideas about the last times of mankind, which goes back to the hierarchy of man himself.
Secular ideas about the eschatology of space can be traced to a person's need to create places of memory (museums, obelisks, monuments), including in the virtual space of his existence.
