Vavilova E. Yu., Petrуakov L. D. Conter-discursive and pseudo-discursive practices as a sign of the Cold War

The family of discursive concepts includes directly discourse, counterdiscourse, or anti-discourse, pseudo-discourse. Counter-discourses and pseudodiscourses are clearly distinguishable in internal and external political propaganda. Counter-discourses fix the opposites that have arisen, but do not allow the thought to develop to a dialectical synthesis, to overcome the contradiction on the basis of synthesis, and to have a broader value in relation to the preceding ones. In this case, the contradiction is fixed in the public consciousness, of its resolution. Pseudodiscourses are built as auxiliary, their task is to prevent the understanding of any basic contradiction in the exciting discourse, to distract from it. Pseudo-discourse shift attention to a low-value problem that is not dangerous for the functioning of the original, basic discourse. In a cold war situation, counter-discourses and pseudo-
discourses are exchanged as anti-values.

Key words: Discourse, counter-discourse, pseudo-discourse, war, society.
