The article discusses linguistic nominations of psycho-physiological reactions, which are markers of emotions in non-verbal behavior. Psycho-physiological reactions are reflexive in nature and are designed to protect a person from various dangers. It is emphasized that the stronger the emotion experienced, the stronger it manifests itself at the physiological level. Examples with the most frequent class — autonomic — are analyzed. It is noted that linguistic nominations of this type are represented by various groups and are associated with changes in complexion, respiratory symptoms, lacrimation, increased heart rate, etc. The language nominations of the group are examined in the communicative behavior of boys — characters of literary works for children in Russian. Using the descriptive method, communicative-pragmatic and contextual methods, an analysis of lexical units that describe non-verbal behavior is carried out, and the nature of the emotions experienced by the participant of communication is shown. It is concluded that this type of non-verbal behavior is typical for boys of primary school age and serves for the child’s emotional attribution. It is suggested that, as a result of the socialization process, the natural /uncontrollable way of emotional expression is replaced by a more diverse range of controlled non-verbal components of communication.
