The article is devoted to the analysis of security education in the aspect of the civilization code. It is stated that the solution of complex security problems is the main condition and need for sustainable development of humanity. It is shown that the manifestations of the destructive forces of nature, technical accidents and disasters, dangerous situations of a social nature have a detrimental effect on the health and life of people, their rights and well-being. It is substantiated that the primary cause of damage in many dangerous situations is largely due to miscalculations and incompetence (lack of training) of people, lack of skills for safe behavior in everyday life and in dangerous situations. It is concluded that one of the most effective mechanisms in solving problems is teaching citizens to ensure safe life through a continuous education system in the aspect of the code of civilization.
