The article is devoted to the description of constitutive features of tourism discourse as a type of institutional discourse. The choice of the topic can be justified by the wide use of tourism discourse, its evident importance in the life of modern society and the need to analyze this discourse with consideration of dynamically changing factors of human development that directly affect its constitutive features. One of these factors is introduction of information technologies in various spheres of our life. The main constitutive features of discourse are the purpose of communication, communication participants, chronotope, values and strategies, genres, precedent texts, discursive formulas. The analysis of the tourism discourse constitutive features confirmed the emergence of new discourse characteristics influenced by technological innovations of the present. Websites of travel agencies with integrated communication forums, travel blogs and vlogs, informational and educational webinars on tourist topics, virtual tours and travellers’ live-streams, chatbots for customer services are new phenomena for tourism discourse, which are nowadays becoming more widespread.
