The article celebrates the anniversary of Olga M. Karpova, Doctor of Philology, Professor, the founder of Ivanovo Lexicography School. The multifaceted activities of the internationally recognized scholar are highlighted. The paper showcases Olga Karpova’s contribution to the theory and practice of author lexicography, specifically her development of a unique theory of English author lexicography and the creation of a complete chronological bibliography of author dictionaries. Special attention is paid to the professor’s role in fostering international academic cooperation: organizing ten International Schools on Lexicography, publishing collective monographs with the prestigious Cambridge Scholars Publishing, and implementing innovative international projects (such as the creation of the encyclopedic dictionary “Florence in the Works of World Famous People”). The article also analyzes Professor Karpova’s pedagogical work, her supervision of academic trainees, and her efforts to strengthen the reputation of Ivanovo State University within the global academic community.
