The article is devoted to the intra-textual reception of the absurd situation of Dmitry Danilov‘s piece «The Man from Podolsk». The emphasis is placed on the techniques and techniques of absurdization of the dramatic text, their appearance in the text of the drama, possible forms and variants of their creation and existence. In the course of the study, the expansion of the concept of the subject is noted: due to the introduction of an absurdist complex into the text, both the author and the subject of the action, and the reader following them, are accepted as subjects. The absurd component leads the subject to detachment. In turn, the frequency of absurd situations contributes to the formation of a space where the absurd is taken for granted, where the absurd and understandable become interchangeable, where the relativity of his life as a whole is consistently explained to the subject, which means that modeling is approved as a way of organizing the space around him. As a result, a conclusion is made about the transformation of the reception situation: the absurdity modeled in the text is lived/played by the character, who perceives it as a reality with which it is necessary and possible to work, and at the same time, through detachment, opens the hero the opportunity for a new vision/insight/ discovery of his own identity. Thus, the internal perception of the absurd by the subject (hero, character) demonstrates the indistinguishability between the existential absurdity and the modeled absurdity.
