The article presents an analysis of the problem of the interdependence of the development of thinking and sociality in education, in philosophical and pedagogical contexts. In the center of the article is an overview of the concept of self-consciousness or the reflective judgment and its relations to the development of ethics, from the standpoint of classical German idealism (I. Kant, I. G. Fichte and G. V. F. Hegel). As a result of the analysis, conclusions are drawn about the meaning of reflexive practices and procedures of group thinking, the philosophical foundations of pedagogical practices of the development of sociality and personality in socio-emotional and ethical education.
