The paper deals with the description of modern tendencies in the English LSP dictionaries compilation in the digital time. The author analyses historic experience of
LSP reference works creation. The article enumerates the main parameters of printed LSP dictionaries, which has been transformed into digital lexicographic projects: the lexicographical form of a glossary, explanatory encyclopedic definition and multimedia characteristics. The author shows the role of experts as co-partners in the creation of commercial LSP works and user participation in the dictionary making process. The paper describes the architecture of English LSP dictionaries of digitalization, automatic control, robototechnics and automatic industries for translators and learners LSP books for different specialties, as well as LSP portals principles of compilation.
