This article provides an analysis of the film «Crimes of the Future» (2022), directed by David Cronenberg. The film is examined as a significant work that raises important questions about the interaction of technology, embodiment, and the future of society. The author highlights how the director focuses on exploring the interplay between technological progress and culture through the use of the metaphor of crimes against the future. The article also addresses key humanitarian phenomena such as the crisis of culture, the interpretation of culture and art in the context of contemporary destructive consumption and the transformation of meanings. The role of cinema as an art form that prompts viewers to reflect on questions of human existence and the impact of technology on the future of humanity is discussed. Special emphasis is placed on Cronenberg's philosophical reflection and his ability to convey the complexity and challenges of contemporary society in the face of technological development. This study contributes to the understanding of the interaction between technological progress and human culture, offering a new perspective for research and analysis of these issues. The findings of this research have
implications for reevaluating the role and impact of technology on the future of humanity.
