The article is devoted to neologisms. Their appearance in the language is connected with new realia. Some neologisms, widely used in everyday speech, can
become a part of common lexis. The main ways of neologisms formation are studied in the article as well as different groups of neologisms and their reflection in dictionaries (Cambridge Dictionary Online).
