The article deals with the problem of interaction of the main structural components of the personality's consciousness in the process of its educational and cognitive activity. The necessity of solving a number of issues relevant to the psychology of learning related to the organization of the introduction of innovative approaches into the practice of modern education is noted. The semiosphere of personality is considered as a symbolic space, the organization of which depends on many external and internal conditions. The main attention is paid to the consideration of the role of language as a means of transforming the picture of the world and the image of the world of the individual in the course of its appropriation of universal socio-cultural experience. The conclusion is substantiated about the undesirability of further primitivization of the system of teaching aids in both primary and higher education under the pretext of reducing the requirements for the levels of development of the semiotic function of consciousness of students demonstrating the phenomena of “clip thinking”.
