The article deals with the influence of classical Marxist philosophy on the development of Russian philosophy, which resulted in the emergence of unorthodox ways of Marxism development in Russia in the XX century. It is shown that Russian unorthodox Marxists were represented by «legal Marxists» and an activist movement. The worldview of the authors of these unorthodox Marxist movements, their ideas for transforming Russian society, views on the problems of both Russia itself and the shortcomings in classical Marxist ideology and philosophy are analyzed. The tendencies of the formation of a new worldview and departure from classical rationalism and anthropocentrism are revealed. With the help of a logical-historical analysis of the essence of unorthodox Marxist thought of the twentieth century, the positions of the authors of that time, their connections with classical Marxism and other philosophical trends were established. The contradictions of various Marxist movements in the choice of ways to get away from the old rationalism and anthropocentrism are fixed.
