. It is shown that in the conditions of the crisis of the modern system of higher education, the question of what constitutes training as such is relevant. It is also shown that evidence of the dual nature of human intelligence, built on the use of the classical provisions of the theory of neural networks, presented recently, makes it necessary to significantly reconsider the content of the concept of “education”. Both an individual and
a collective principle simultaneously characterize the human intellect, and the existence of the latter was not previously taken into account by theoretical pedagogy, while education, in essence, is mainly a directed transformation of that component of intellect and consciousness that has a collective nature. The highest form of excellence provides for the possibility of direct interaction of an individual with one of the components of the collective component of the intellect — the professional collective unconscious, which is responsible for professional intuition, creative insights, etc. An interpretation of the concept of “noospheric university” is proposed, focused on the direct use of the resources of the professional collective unconscious. It is shown that the use of the resources of the professional collective unconscious can significantly reduce the costs (including time) for training, understood as a system of directed transformations of the student's intellect, aimed at acquiring professionalism.
