The article is devoted to the reflection over the theoretical and metaphysical ideas of N. F. Fedorov’s philosophy of the “Common cause”. It is shown that
the concept of the “common cause” philosophy was formed under the influence of the deep sources of Russian culture and the humanistic mentality of the Russian spirit. It is noted that modern reflection over the phenomenon of collective reason is productive in the discourse of the philosophical dialogue between N. F. Fedorov and the outstanding spiritual mentors of the nation — F. M. Dostoevsky, L. N. Tolstoy, V. S. Soloviev. It is concluded that N. F. Fedorov’s philosophy is an attempt to organically embody the humanistic aspirations of the collective mind in the projective activities of all the inhabitants of the planet, regardless of worldview, class, party, civil and other social differences. The axiological significance of the philosophical ideas of the “Common cause” for the analysis of radical socio-cultural transformations that determine the future of modern global civilization is substantiated.
